Insurance & claims

The insurer's share and the patient's share on the same invoice.

   Settings → Insurance companies: add the company and coverage rate.

   Link the patient to their insurer from their file.

   From the invoice open a claim for the insurer's share and track it: Submitted → Approved → Paid.

   When you mark «Paid», the amount is recorded as a payment on the invoice automatically.

   Want to split the patient's share into installments? Open the claim first, then create the installment plan, so the installments cover only their share.
